Building on their recent success with significant design works by celebrated 20th and 21st designers, Phillips de Pury & Company will host their autumn Design Auction featuring major works by Shigeru Ban, Marc Newson, Maarten Baas and Tord Boontje.
This unique and provocative piece is part of Dutch designer Pieke Bergmans’ ongoing “Design Virus” series and offers a refreshing adaptation to traditional light fixtures. As the designer explains, “[a Light Blub] is a light bulb that has gone way out of line.
Part of Bergmans on-going "Design Virus" series. The lamp uses one of Bergmans signature "Light Blubs", a hand-blown glass light bulb containing LED (24V Osram Power LEDs, 7,5 – 15W).
This year Patrick Perrin and Stéphane Custot have reworked DesignArt London under a new concept to create the Pavilion of Art & Design.
