London-based gallery and design studio Rabih Hage will be transforming the VIP room at Volta4, Basel’s cutting-edge art fair, into a design installation where visitors and collectors can experience first hand the functionality and beauty of collectible design.
Featuring limited edition works from the gallery, the lounge will be furnished with pieces from Moritz Waldemeyer, Aki Kuroda, Karen Ryan, Assa Ashuach, Johnny Swing and Piet Hein Eek.
Visitors will be invited to play a game on the ‘Roulette Table’ by Moritz Waldemeyer, or relax on the ‘Nickel Couch’ by renowned American artist Johnny Swing.
Stool seating specifically designed for the lounge by Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek will also be showcased.
