As a Satellite Exhibition of Design Miami/Basel, ECAL/École cantonale d’art de Lausanne, presents a collection of blown-glass lights designed by a select group of 1st and 2nd year Industrial Design students.
Designed specifically for Design Miami/Basel 08 under the guidance of British designer Max Lamb and in collaboration with Matteo Gonet, a glassblower from Bern, each light is the end result of an exploration into the visual and physical potentials of glass and the glass blowing process.
