'Opera Domestica'
Opera Domestica - Similar Differences ('90-'95) " Similar Differences " is an architectural prototype introduced as a parallel relationship between dimension and function, where proportion is relative to use. An entity within the dwelling space accommodating " what contains ", and " what is contained ".The project is composed of " empty compartments ", " built-in objects ", and " compositional pieces " within other compartments, that could be assembled to create " new objects ". A "home" for the "homeless entities" of the living space. The "building " consists of 182 apartments/compartments accessible in two directions. The two "sub-entities" which make the "whole" merge at the diagonal of "void squares" or the "line of reflections. The "built-in objects" and "compositional pieces" are adapted to the many different aspects of living (games, furniture, kitchen utensils, work utensils, dinning utensils, building utensils,….)
