The Museum of Design – Zurich is opening an exhibition on July 16 that focuses on the life and work of 20th century design icon, Charlotte Perriand. Over the course of her career, Perriand became one of the most influential designers of the past century.
Perriand collaborated with artists and designers including Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Jean Prouvé, and Fernand Léger to produce a wide range of works that vary from tubular steel furniture to photographs and collages. This exhibition examines Perriand as an important pioneer within the context of these diverse creations.
