This week Phillips de Pury & Company in London will occupy the Saatchi Gallery to present a viewing exhibition of works from their inaugural BRIC auctions. BRIC, which is usually a fiscal acronym for the quickly expanding economies of Brazil, Russia, India, and China, will, in this case, refer to the emerging art and design scene of these four nations.

BRIC will be the sixth in a series of themed auctions Phillips has developed to present a cross-section of Contemporary Art, Phototgraphy, Design and Editions that focus on a particular cultural theme. All 438 lots from the BRIC sales will be on view at the Saatchi Gallery from 17-23 April, and for the first time the sales themselves will be held in the Gallery space as well from the evening of the 23rd through Saturday the 24th.
