'Plastic Chair in Wood' by Maarten Baas
Having been commissioned, by Pearl Lam founder of Contrasts gallery in Shanghai, to create a series of products with Chinese producers, Baas has come up with a spectacular cross-over between western design and traditional Chinese techniques. Our favourite is “Plastic Chair in Wood”, a pleasant surprise to the regular garden variety.
