This year the biennial trade fair ‘Lighting+Building’ will run from April 11 to 16 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, overlapping with I Saloni del Mobile showing that there is life in the design world beyond Milan. ‘Lighting+Building’ is the world’s largest trade fair for energy efficient products and systems related to architecture and technology.

In a world where economic and environmental concerns are increasingly prevalent issues in daily life, this biennial event offers designers and manufactures a unique chance for intercommunication and development. This year ‘Lighting+Building 2010’ will include a staggering 2,000 international exhibitors from the fields of lighting, electrical engineering, and building automation, each showcasing an extensive range of products. 1,500 of these exhibitors are in lighting alone, and they will demonstrate how recent leaps in LED technology could revolutionize the industry.
