Interview with Mouna Andraos
by Ricardo Hernandez for Yatzer
In this recent interview, young designer/artist Mouna Androas talks to Yatzer about the relationship between her work and electronic and media related technologies.
As Hernandez points out in the text of the interview, ‘many of us would describe technology as advancements that facilitate and better our daily lives... These objects are, for the most part, an assembly of electronic parts that work together to achieve its final product, consumption.’ Androas’ work disrupts this convention by using technology as an artistic medium.
Mouna Androas is a Canadian-Lebanese artist based in Montreal, Canada who utilizes electronics as an artistic medium to create a variety of functional objects that push the boundary between art and design in a new and innovative way.
