Young Creative Poland
19th - 27th September '09
5 Cromwell Place
London SW7 2JE
Coinciding with this year’s London Design Festival, a group of young Polish designers are showing new work at a venue in the Brompton Design District.
Over the last several years Poland has become a vibrant scene for emerging design in Europe and this show will represent a broad spectrum of creativity from the country’s young talent, including selections of furniture design, industrial design, graphic design, fashion, architecture, and innovative engineering.
The exhibition is curated by Miska Miller-Lovegrove, a London-based Polish-born architect and features work by Oskar Zeita, Tomek Rygalik, Beton, Kompott and Maria Jeglinska among others.
“Young Creative Poland” is organized as part of “POLSKA! YEAR” which aims to bring Polish culture to a wide UK audience. “POLSKA! YEAR” runs from May 2009 to May 2010 and is organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Insitute.
