For the third in the series of Design Tribe exhibitions, produced alongside Max Fraser’s first edition of the London Design Guide, Mint presents “The Escapists”.
Exploring the interpretive and imaginative quality found in many works of cutting-edge design, the exhibition presents a series of objects that demonstrate how the designers themselves can be thought of as storytellers using the medium of design as their creative outlet.
While revealing the mundane as eccentric, Mint Escapes will assert individual experience and creativity as being inherently unique. Each item on display offers an insightful look at the way designers utilise personal experience, and imagination, offering us new insights into the role of the surreal in design.
