Modus Operandi
by Matylda Krzykowski
Recent product design graduate Matylda Krzykowski has devised a series of wooden chairs reinterpreted through a distinct pattern of methods.
Led by an obsession for clean-cut form, Matylda has created a number of archetypal chairs that are far more than meets the eye.
At first glance each piece resembles the common conception of a chair, however, Matylda has in fact, through her ‘modus operandi’ distorted and extracted the functionality from each chair, gaining dominance over the objects while transforming them into a series of conceptual pieces.
