This year’s State of Design Festival presents over 100 interactive events, exhibitions, workshops and talks dedicated to the theme ‘Sampling the Future’.
From the creative individuals and their stories that shape our future through to the valuable commercial, ecological and social outcomes that can result, State of Design will explore and highlight the value that design delivers, breaking down misconceptions, provoking change, and creating opportunities for the future.
The Festival will hold four major programs in various locations across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria: Design Capital, Design For Everyone, Design: Made: Trade and the Biennial Premier’s Design Awards, each created to stimulate interest, engagement and inspiration amongst design professionals, business groups and the general public.
Whether you want to be inspired, informed, talk business or just soak up the atmosphere, there is something for you to see and do.
