An excellent selection of Masterworks by Dutch designer Poul Kjærholm will be up for grabs at this Thursday’s 20th Century Design Auction, Bonhams, New York.

Desirable for both its variety and quality of condition, the group on a whole boasts a number of rare pieces. Included in the mix are a model PK24, cane and steel chaise lounge estimated at $15,000 - 20,000 and a model PK 63A, marble and steel dining table with a pre-sale estimate of$12,000 - 18,000.

Auctioned alongside the 15 pieces by Kjærholm’s will be a group of eleven Georg Nakashima works from a private California residence. Included in the lots are a ‘Minguren’ low table, circa 1977, estimated at $20,000 - 30,000, as well as two iconic walnut an hickory ‘Conoid’ benches each estimated at $15,000 - 20,000.
