Arums gallery presents four unpublished prototypes from Moroso’s 1991 Spring Collection.
Designed by Ron Arad, the four rocking chairs, Spring, Off Spring, High Tilt, and Low Tilt, combine Arad's playful forms and experiments with his love for advanced technologies.
Each chair evokes its own element of risk, giving the impression of instability through undulating curves and lack of clearness in form. The overall effect invites the user to confront the object transforming what at first glance seems to be more of a sculpture, into a remarkable piece for furniture.
