As part of their series of exhibitions profiling exciting young designers based in Lausanne, Switzerland, The Lighthouse presents Mapping the Field: new work by industrial designer Adrien Rovero.
Characterised by the re-interpretation of everyday objects, Rovero’s work embodies a playful and clever approach which questions industrial processes and our perception of objects and materials. The impression of materials such as marble, wood and carbon are presented as a contemporary ‘Tromp l’oeil’ when applied to the surface of a series of Rovero’s objects.
