Icelandic designer Fridgerdur Gudmundsdottir has developed a simple yet effective room divider constructed from corrugated card stock.
“The STUDLAR COLUMNS cardboard wall has pinpointed key concepts of modernity and put them together in a´design that is functionar, flexible, foldable, and environmentally friendly” says Hedvig Anderson in the 01/09 issue of FORUM AID magazine.
The project STUDLAR was a nominee as the best student work in the Nordic countries. Stuðlar are corrugated-paper modules that link together in a simple and easy manner to form a wall that is as functional in the home as in the office.
