More and more we spend our lives in supermarkets, airports and hotels, staring at computers or at cash machines. This colonisation of our world by “non-places” Augé argues, changes us in subtle ways.
Join Marc Augé, author of Non-Places: Introduction to an Anthropology of Supermodernity in a conversation with Stephen Bayley, founder of The Design Museum and architecture and design correspondent at The Observer, to discuss the impact, perceptions and effects that non-places have on our lives.
