February sees The Stockholm Design Week, Sweden's biggest annual celebration of design. The festival is a spectacular celebration of world-class talent across the city. Highlights including events such as the Stockholm furniture fair and Northern Light Fair.
The Stockholm Furniture Fair hosts 750 companies and will showcase designs pertaining to kitchens, textiles, lighting, furniture, and interiors.
This year's guest of honour, Ineke Hans, will be creating a lounge in the entrance hall, while trend analyst Li Edelkoort, will be hosting a seminar on February 5th, which will explore interior design and furniture trends.
An area of the fair called Greenhouse is set aside for design schools and unestablished yet innovative designers with the intention to give them a chance to connect with the industry.
