Ron Arad Retrospective
20th November '08 - 16th March '09
Centre Pompidou
rue Saint-Martin, Paris, France
For the first time in France, the Centre Pompidou has devoted a monograph to the British industrial designer and architect Ron Arad.
While defining himself as belonging to ‘No Discipline’, Arad’s unique style, characterized by playful forms and experiments with advanced technologies, has branded him one of the most influential designers of our time.
The exhibition, featuring major works from his impressive portfolio of unique pieces, limited series and mass-produced objects, offers an indepth look into Arad’s unorthodox approach to materials and processes.
