DesignBoost 2008
15th October - 17th October '08
Malmö, Sweden
Endeavouring to nurture the development of a network of sustainable design thinkers, Peer Eriksson of Peer Communication and David Carlson, founder of David Design and David Report, have once again joined forces to create Designboost 2008 in Malmö, Sweden.
Headed 'Long Live the City’, this year’s Designboost will celebrate the city while aiming to present a great variety of relevant but also unexpected approaches as to how to make our cities culturally, economically and environmentally sustainable.
One hundred invited participants - from designers and architects to anthropologists, economists, horticulturists, as well as our very own DeTank editor Gillian Russell - will participate in a number of private ‘BoostChat’ workshops where they will discuss a variety of topics related to the theme of the sustainable city.
A series of public ‘BoostTalk’ lectures will be held throughout the day of October 16th at Malmö University, while a ‘BoostShow’ exhibition will open on the final day of the conference and run until November 16th.
