Sustainable design innovators [re]design return to 100% Futures to launch their LIGHTEN UP exhibition feature and book, successor to award-winning friendly seating show SIT UP (2007).

This year their sustainable spotlight moves onto lighting design. Laying bare the inspiration, development and processes behind diverse products, LIGHTEN UP gives an inside view of thought and practice at the forefront of green design.

The exhibition looks beyond the bulb to explore an array of sustainable lighting strategies – including energy-efficient technology and design, sustainably sourced and recycled materials, lifecycle thinking and product-user relationships.
