Competition: Hack-Your-IKEA

Pondering what you should do this weekend, why not have a go at hacking your own IKEA flat pack.
Platform21, BRIGHT and Superuse are calling on you to hack an IKEA flat pack. Make your own design out of it with a small alteration or perpetrate an out-and-out hack that gives the object a whole new function.
So if you have an old BILLY, if you are fed up with your LACK or have second thoughts on the LINDVED you bought, let your imagination run wild and start hacking!
Then take pictures or make a video and send it in with a brief statement including what it is, how you made it, and the name of your new product, if it has one.

The winning design will be announced on September 21st and will subsequently be exhibited at the 2009 Montreal Biennial, of which Platform21 = Hacking IKEA will be part. It will also be displayed at the BRIGHT stand during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
