Nomad St Moritz 2020 opens its doors today, returning to the prestigious Chesa Planta mansion in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Attendance is by invitation only (application to register on the website) which makes Nomad an exclusive and intimate design fair experience in contrast to the increasing scale of many other global fairs. Founded in 2016 by Giorgio Pace and Nicolas Bellavance -Lecompte, Nomad functions as a travelling showcase, and this shifting context is where its unique attraction really lies, offering access to sites of architectural significance, tours of private homes and collections as well as featuring a growing number of exhibitors and special projects each year with pieces displayed within luxurious domestic settings as intended.
