Presented at Volume Gallery's new exhibition space in an ongoing series that showcase American architecture and design.
A compilation of remarkable things was attempted as a mirror of contemporary knowledge, regardless of whether those objects were created by the genius of man or the caprice of nature.
-Wolfram Koeppe
A tradition born in the Renaissance - the golden age of discovery and exploration, WUNDERKAMMER is historically a cabinet or room that housed objects whose meanings had yet to be defined or categorized. For Volume Gallery's Wunderkammer, the genius of man will be under consideration with works that represent the ecosystem the galley has introduced previously and the program that will endure.
