HOUSEWARMING bY FAbRICA FOR AIRbNb
Airbnb is partnering with Fabrica to create Housewarming, an experiential installation celebrating the connections guests and hosts experience through sharing a home, and how these unique relationships begin with a simple welcome. visitors to Palazzo Crespi, a private home that is open to the public for the first time, will see the creations of 19 international designers who have interpreted the concept of welcome.

A MATTER OF PERCEPTION bY MOSCA PARTNERS AND DAMN°
DAmNo has chosen the magnificent Palazzo Litta in the very heart of milan as its hangout during milan Design Week, and combines forces with mOSCA Partners to make the Palace rock. The Palace will host a selection of architects, designers, and corporate partners, to express themselves under one theme: materials. A matter of Perception, is all about the origin of concepts; how materials affect and define an object or an idea.

MOOOI ‘THE UNExPECTED WELCOME’
moooi is ready to transform the monumental space of 1.700 m2 by showcasing an assembly of inspirational living quarters, timeless product haikus and a new carpet collection, harmoniously absorbed into the breath-taking depths of Rahi Rezvani’s artistic photography. 21 settings will unfold in front of your eyes in a fascinating combination of 9 home environments, which will inspire you with their sense of style and 12 poetic haiku compositions.

DESIGNJUNCTION EDIT
The designjunction edit will be a curated show of contemporary design, featuring 30 international brands, presented against the derelict surrounds of Casa dell’Opera, in milan’s city centre in the San babila area. The beautiful, raw space of the former school building Casa dell’Opera provides the perfect backdrop to continue to build designjunction’s reputation for presenting cutting-edge design.

TRIENNALE DI MILANO: ARTS & FOODS RITUALS FROM 1851
An exhibition curated by germano Celant. Under the architectural direction of Studio Italo Rota, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves physically in a spectacular route where works of art, drawings and architectural models, films, objects, documents, books, menus, and album covers bring to life a narrative that set works and images in their own historical, sociological and anthropological context.

LExUS: ‘A JOURNEY OF SENSES’
visitors to Lexus’s installation at milan Design Week can look forward to complete sensory experience that will stimulate the eyes, ears, nose, fingertips and taste. Internationally celebrated French designer Philippe Nigro has explored the essence of Lexus to produce a new work, A journey of the Senses, with Hajime Yoneda, including insights in Lexus design, Lexus Design Award 2015 – ideas to shape the future and experience the five senses.

HERMèS ExHIbITION PREVIEW: FAbRICS AND WALLPAPERS
An imaginary journey into the jungle is the focus of the new collection of Hermès which will be presented at the Salone del mobile 2015. The textile design of the French Fashion House is inspired by a forest filled with birds, as in the pattern of the wallpaper collection ‘jungle Life Onbre Chinoise’ by illustrator Robert Dallet. The pattern, as well as the name of the line, refer to the ancient art form of shadow puppetry.

LOUIS VUITTON UNVEIL ObJETS NOMADES COLLECTION
Louis vuitton will take up residence at the Palazzo bocconi during Salone de mobile to showcase its latest Objets Nomades collection. The new lineup features travel-inspired, foldable furnishings. Louis vuitton has tapped nine talents for the new project, including established and emerging designers – Patricia Urquiola, Atelier Oï, barber & Osgerby, Nendo, Campana brothers, gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, and maarten baas.

THE GARDEN OF WONDERS. A JOURNEY THROUGH THE SCENTS
bE OPEN, the international foundation which operates in the field of design and creativity, has chosen the botanical garden of brera as the amazing background of a sophisticated interdisciplinary project whose central theme is perfume. The exhibition will be presented on the occasion of EXPO 2015 in may, with a special preview during the milan Design Week in April, due to the aesthetic and philosophical features this products embodies.

WALLPAPER* HANDMADE
This year Wallpaper* Handmade is bigger, better and more ambitious than ever. So much so that is has relocated from Leclettico to take over an entire arcade. Enlisting the help of four friends, the Wallpaper* Arcade is a celebration of collaboration and design excellence. The Wallpaper* Arcade has also been given a facelift thanks to Kvadrat and a spectacular multi- coloured draped colonnade.
