Moscow-based architecture firm Archiproba took on the challenge to adapt a 1927 building that went through many years of abandon and misuse for DI_Telegraph. The final results is a concise and efficient workspace perfectly suited to the constructivist features the great construction showcases.

Only vital and functional elements furnish the 15,000 sq ft originally wall-free open space; cleverly using long dramatic drapes and glass partitions to divide and characterize each room. Not only will the industrial building host work stations, but educational seminars, conferences and public activity. Flexibility is the keyword, sporting module-like and movable furniture as main tools to adapt this multi-use site without losing its appeal.

This impossibly minimalist and industrial chic project is a great example of the best restorations trends at the moment; it respects the original structure whilst abiding to current uses of explicit concrete, few colors and contemporary design furnishings.
