The Dinder House by Isle Crawford
Interior Architecture and Design
The Dinder House: a conversion of a Regency-era property into a contemporary family home, was designed by Isle Crawford. A key element of the re-design was functionality – ensuring the home could be fully utilized by the family who occupies it (including four young boys).
The home, in Somerset, England is comprised of three stories with floor-to-ceiling windows and a slate roof and sits on 23 acres of beautiful gardens and landscaping.
The owners, Chris and Jo Mycocks, felt Isle understood the importance of maintaining the integrity of the historical Georgian home. The Mycocks have certainly put their personal stamp on the home: filling the large airy rooms, with Marthe Armitage wallpaper, lighting by Marianna Kennedy resin lamps and an expanding contemporary art collection.
