Calvert Brody
a new typo for the Royal College of Art
Leading figure of graphic design, the artistic director Neville Brody, founder of Research Studios, has just created a new typeface for the Royal College of Arts where he is dean for the department of graphic art and communication.
Working alongside the illustrious typographer Margaret Calvert –the very one who has ‘designed’ various road signage in Great Britain - Research Studios has designated ‘Calvert Brody’ which will now convey the visual identity of the artistic institution through its published documents and online but also contribute to smooth circulation around the buildings thanks to signage which has been radically redesigned
