I.D. 2008 Annual Design Review
10th July - 28th September '08
Parsons New School For Design
66 Fifth Ave. Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, New York.
This year Parsons New School of Design will present an exhibition of I.D. magazine's Annual Design Review.
Featuring more than 130 works the exhibition will represent this year's finest examples of product, furniture, graphic, packaging, equipment, interactive, concept, and environmental design.
While recognizing design excellence, from the iconic to the obscure, the exhibition will offer a rare and timely look at the state of contemporary design and its professions.
The works on view will range from Y Water, designed by Yves Behar of Fuseproject, Simpledoubledeux, a bed that can transform from two singles into a twin or double, designed by Drexler Guinarnd Jauslin Architects to the Puma PT3 Ultramagnetic, an emblem and Grand Prize for Puma's table Tennis Tournaments designed by Rinal Aruh and Johan Liden of Aruliden.
For all those who want a glimpse into how the other side of design lives, this is your chance.
