Clerkenwell-based Architects A-EM in collaboration with award-winning photographer Alan Williams are curating Upshot.

The exhibition showcases rarely seen locations normally hidden from the public’s gaze. From the great institutions such as the V&A through to the penthouses of the rich and famous, Upshot will tantalize visitors with a unique glimpse into some of London’s best kept secret spaces.

Following on from Alan Williams’ previous explorations of subterranean London in 'Suburban' as part of LAB06, Upshot uncovers hidden spaces at the top of London's highest buildings.

Forming one of the key events of the London Festival of Architecture calendar, the exhibition will involve the hanging of large-scale images on and around the terraces of the National Theatre.
