R 20th Century is pleased to announce our first solo exhibition of Los Angeles-based artist David Wiseman. The exhibition is curated by Rodman Primack and will be on view November 13, 2012 through January 12, 2013. A reception for the artist will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 6-8 pm.
This exhibition offers a comprehensive look into a beautiful and extraordinary world created by
David Wiseman through his unique renderings of flora, fauna and patterns inspired by natural phenomena.
His multilayered vocabulary of forms range in scope and scale from place-card holders and salt
cellars, to whimsically collaged chandeliers, glass and enamel mirrors, bronze and terrazzo furniture,as well as full scale architectural installations, all handcrafted in his Los Angeles studio.
