The Design Museum Zürich presents SurroundThings, a comprehensive solo exhibition celebrating the work of internationally renowned designer Alfredo Häberli.
Alongside a varied overview of the products and projects that Häberli and his studio have carried out for firms such as Alias, Camper, Iittala, Kvadrat, Luceplan, Moroso, Ruckstuhl or Schiffini, the exhibition will offer insight into the intellectual background and surroundings in which Häberli's work, which moves between functionality, precision, lightness and a playful charm, is created.
Divided up into various thematic compilations, with titles such as “The room we live in” or “Conversation between club members”, the exhibition gives visitors a look into all aspects of Häberli’s work including his process, inspirations and project briefs.
