London Festival of Architecture 2008

The London Festival of Architecture will celebrate and explore the cities, buildings, streets, and spaces with over 600 exhibitions, lectures, public space installations, guided walks, bicycle rides, boat tours, parties, design workshops and debates.
Focusing on the theme of FRESH, the festival will pay tribute to the amazing vitality of London’s architectural scene and celebrate London as a creative hub, a focus for international debate and as a city transformed.
Headline events include lectures by leading international architects David Chipperfield, Daniel Libeskind, Cesar Pelli and Rem Koolhaas, and by LFA President, Peter Ackroyd. As well, there are Big Breakfasts at spectacular venues such as the British Museum, with speakers including Jon Snow and Janet Street-Porter sharing their views of London.
