An Inflatable Stonehenge on Tour

Jeremy Deller has created a life-size bouncy castle version of Stonehedge, entitled Sacrilege that will be touring the UK this summer as a part of the London 2012 Festival and the Mayor of London Surprises Program.
Deller, the winner of the 2004 turner prize, may have taken inspiration for Sacrilege from author Julian Barnes' novel England England, in which 20th century English culture is distilled into a theme park version on the Isle of Wight. Regardless of Deller's inspiration, Barnes' book is worth a read this summer leading up to the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
