'The 100th Anniversary of Finn Juhl’s Birth' at Daelim Museum

The Daelim Museum is showcasing 'The 100th Anniversary of Finn Juhl’s Birth' to commemorate the anniversary of this legendary Danish designer’s birth.
The exhibition, which pulls from the collections of world renowned chair collector Oda Noritsugu (1946- ) highlights works of Finn Juhl (1912-1989), the Danish designer who is accredited with starting the Scandinavian modern furniture design - an movement which has emerged as a much sought-after lifestyle trend in Korea.
Daelim Museum is using their exhibition space to explore how we integrate highly artistic works within our daily life. Therefore, this exhibition will focus on furniture design, which is the most familiar item in our living environment, following the exhibition Less and More – the Design Ethos of Dieter Rams in 2010.
