Martin Creed redesigns Sketch
London
Turner Prize winning artist Martin Creed gives London restaurant Sketch a revamp.
Transforming the arts and dining space into a giant sculpture, Creed injects Sketch with a dose of wit and verve using 96 different types of marble, covering the floor in zigzagging patterns.
Walls are covered with large scale paintings while each piece of furniture and cutlery is unique. Crane.tv talks to Creed, curator Victoria Brooks and restaurateur Mourad Mazouz about the reasons behind the project as Crane.tv follow Creed's creative process over a four day period.
