Important Design at Wright

On the 15th of December 2011 at 12pm Wright will host 'Important Design' an auction featuring 20th and 21st century design. The auction has a nice selection of Gio Ponti pieces commissioned for Villa Arreaza, Caracas - which is one of the two complete residential commissions completed by the designer in Venezula.

The auction offers seminal works by Jean Prouvé and Wendell Castle. Castle's 'Best Leg Forward' is currently on display at CWG London, which provides an interesting perspective in the development of his aesthetic style.
