20th Century Decorative Arts Auction at Christie's
23 November '11
Paris
On the afternoon of November 23rd 2011 Christie's will be hosting a 20th Century Decorative Arts auction. One may find it hard to be struck with inspiration amongst the very safe selection of lots on offer in this auction.
With over 10% of the sale dedicated to Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann this sale makes us question Christie's confidence in the design market. After the very successful sale this past September at Phillips de Pury & Company we would have hoped to see a little more exciting selection in upcoming auctions.
Lots we are watching include:

A Pair Of Macassar Ebony Re-Upholstered Chairs
